Yao He

Yao He is a professor in Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials (FUNSOM) at Soochow University (China). His research interest focuses on development of silicon nanotechnology for biological/biomedical analysis and detection, with an aim to provide new platform for cancer diagnosis and therapy.
Starting from 2009 when Dr. He established his group, he has authored over 80 peer-reviewed papers on top chemistry and biomedicine journals with an impact factor (IF) lager than 3.0, 10 of which were published on Angewandte Chemie (6) and JACS (4) as the first author or corresponding authors. His papers have more than 4,600 citations with an H-index of 35. Moreover, Dr. He, served as the chief editor, was invited by Springer to publish a book titled “Silicon Nano-biotechnolgy”. He served as the chief scientist of the “youth 973” project (National key scientific research projects) in 2013.
The awards Dr. He received include Science and Technology Award (the first prize) of Analysis and Testing Association of China (CAIA) in 2009, Chinese Chemical Society Award for outstanding young scientist in 2012, The National Science and Technology Leading Talent Award in 2012, the Six Talent Peaks Project of Jiangsu Province in 2013, National High-Level Personnel of Special Support Program in 2014, and Youth Leadership of China in 2015.
